April 2013…and so the journey continues..

Another great visit to Sudan, two more great songs come to life..

 

By chance (or divine intervention), I was introduced by my friend Osama, to the wonderful singer El-Kheir-

a warm and welcoming person, with great dreams and a touching voice.

 

Within just a few hours we had two songs on the way- Allah Raboonah- a Darfurian prayer song for rain,

and El Gamar- a real surprise, still in the works..

 

We, and the wonderful guys at Sync Studio were so pleased with the results, we even shot a beautiful video-clip in a reconstructed Darfurian Village,

 

After the success of Fi Hoak, playing in local television daily, it was very exciting to finally do a proper video with professional attention.

 

It is truly the most inspiring place you can imagine.. things connect in Sudan.

43 degrees in the shade, somethings got to cook..
